Vincent Omondi, known as Vindee a popular Tiktok sensation opened up about his tough life in a new episode of Obinna Show Live.

Vindee makes people laugh with his “Nitakushanda!” skits. In these short videos, he plays a silly thief on TikTok and Instagram. Millions watch them. But Vindee says it’s not easy. “Fans see the fun, but I was washing cars and hungry some days,” he told Oga Obinna.

He shared two scary stories. First, in 2023, Vindee lost a tooth while filming in a rough part of town called Kibera. He fell hard into a wall. His team laughed at first, but he was in pain. He fixed his tooth cheaply and turned the mess into a funny video that got 2 million views.

Worse was a bike crash last year on Thika Road. Rain made the road slippery. The bike flipped. Vindee woke up in hospital with broken bones and internal bleeding. He thought his video days were over. “Bills piled up, family prayed,” he said, voice shaking.

What saved him was a message from a sick fan. “Your laughs helped me during cancer treatment,” it said. That made Vindee get back to work. Now, he wants Kenya’s leaders to help online creators make money better. “We need support, like sports stars get,” he added.
